The 9-4X is one of the rarest cars Saab has produced. With a production run of just 814 cars, it is even rarer than cars like the Ferrari F40.

Saab 9-4X built on General Motors’ GM Theta Premium platform, it’s not much more than a Cadillac SRX with a different body.
The engine, transmission, and all hardware are GM-specific, while only certain exterior and interior details are Saab-specific.
When the car came out, it was considered at least as competent as the Cadillac SRX and was considered to offer high doses of driving pleasure by the Swedish media.
American media however, didn’t think the car delivered enough, especially when a BMW X3 cost the same.

In Saab circles, the 9-4X is considered quite desirable and costs approximately SEK 100,000 more than the equivalent Cadillac SRX.
Now there is a 9-4 for sale in Stockholm at The block for 225,000 kroner, which is a bit below other 9-4X down on the continent.
Under the hood lurks a 3-liter petrol V6 with 264 horsepower. No diesel was ever offered for the 9-4X. The sprint to 100 km/h takes 9 seconds and the top speed is 210 km/h.
The car in question has traveled 19,334 miles, has no damage, no rust, and has been serviced at an authorized Saab workshop.

The rarest ordinary car?
Some believe that the Saab 9-4X could become a future collector’s car – it is the last new car that the brand launched. At the time of writing, there are roughly 10 9-4X for sale around the world.
That said, it’s nothing more than a Cadillac SRX with a different badge on the front.
