Abdoulaye Nderguet, the Chadian nightingale with the golden voice returns with a new album born from an encounter with the pianist and organist Emmanuel Bex. From this duet was born “The soul of the blues”.
Once upon a time there was a son of a soldier who decided to give up his studies in biology to make music. It must be said that with his golden voice, he was able to arouse many emotions. He then made himself known within the famous Chadian group Tibesti, which was to give a real facelift to Chadian music.
Since then, the native of N’Djamena but who grew up in Sarh, in the Chadian province of Moyen-Chari, has come a long way. And then one fine day in 2019, Abdoulaye Nderguet met the organist and pianist Emmanuel Bex, heir to Eddy Louiss and a recognized and multi-awarded figure on the French jazz scene.
It was enough for the birth of an album a few months later soberly baptized “The soul of the blues”. It was released a week ago by Go Musick/L’Autre Distribution.
Today, Abdoulaye Nderguet is the guest of VMDN.
