Two employees at a detention center in Rostov in southern Russia have reportedly been taken hostage. The perpetrators, who are reported to be incarcerated at the institution, are said to be connected to the terrorist movement IS.
The hostage-takers are said to be five in number, reports the news agency Reuters.
The perpetrators are said to be armed with a knife, writes the independent Russian news agency Baza on the Telegram messaging service. Among other things, they are said to have requested a car and weapons.
Riot police should be on their way to the facility.

A 15-year-old boy has been abused in Ljusdal.
The alarm came in at 10:15 p.m. and the boy is said to have been sitting in a car when he was hit.

American r’n’b singer Angela Bofill is dead, American media write.
She died Thursday at her daughter’s home in California, according to a spokesperson for the artist.
Angela Bofill was born in 1954 in Brooklyn in New York with Cuban and Puerto Rican roots.
She made her album debut in 1978 with “Angie”, which included the hit song “This time I’ll be sweeter”, and she is considered one of the first successful r’n’b artists of Latin American origin.
During her career she recorded ten studio albums and she also sang behind other artists such as Diana Ross and Kirk Whalum.

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse or rape of another woman in Luleå, the police write on their website.
The crime is said to have taken place in a restaurant during the night towards Sunday.

The police have been alerted to a suspicious shooting in Handen, south of Stockholm. The suspected shooting is said to have taken place after 2 a.m. on Sunday.
– We received an alarm about some kind of explosions in Handen. There we have found suspects who have made discoveries that have led us to initiate a preliminary investigation into serious weapons crime, says Johan Hårderup, officer on duty at the Stockholm Police.
A major search operation for a suspected perpetrator is ongoing during the night in the area, which has been cordoned off, but police are still tight-lipped about what has been fired at.
– I will not go into detail about what we see at the scene, but no one is injured and we currently have no arrests, says Johan Hårderup to TT.
At 23.21 on Saturday evening, a car drove into a lamp post outside Åsarp in Falköping municipality. A man later died from his injuries, reports say Skaraborg county newspaper.
The emergency services must have rushed to the scene. An ambulance helicopter is also said to have been involved in the rescue work.

A man in his 40s has been found with stab wounds in Hässelby farm, shortly after 01 o’clock on the night of Sunday.
– There has been some kind of fight there. We have started a preliminary investigation into serious assault.
The police are working on the case at the scene. No one is deprived of liberty.
– We received an alarm at 01:30 to a property in Hässelby that someone had been stabbed and then we found the man who was taken to hospital, says Johan Hårderup, officer on duty at the Stockholm Police to TT.
The man should not have life-threatening injuries.
At 3:30 a.m., no one was detained.

Hello! This is what it says on SR’s website: “If you want to listen to Summer in P1, you can either listen directly on FM at 1 p.m., just as usual, or on Sveriges Radio Play – where you can also listen to the summer episodes afterwards” .
You can therefore listen live on the radio. However, you will not be able to listen to the episodes in other apps such as Spotify.
