A new image from the court has raised suspicions among onlookers. If not Prince Nicolas had grown so much, the secret of the court might have been kept.
The image that was posted to draw attention Princess Madeleine 42nd birthday is not as recent as you might think. In fact, it’s almost a year old.
– It is a new picture in that it has never been shown before, says Johan Tegel at the court to The Express.

Princess Madeleine turned 42 on Monday, June 10. This year, the court chose a family portrait instead of a traditional portrait. On the court’s Instagram, many congratulated, one person wrote:
“What a nice picture! Happy birthday and welcome back to Sweden”.
But the truth is that the picture was taken when the princess recently turned 41, ahead of the king’s throne jubilee in the summer of 2023, reveals Johan Tegel.

Grows so it cracks
By looking at pictures from Princess Madeleine’s Instagram, you can clearly see that the picture is not new.
Prince Nicolas – who turns nine on Saturday – has grown noticeably since then.
In the “birthday picture” he does not reach his mother’s shoulder, while he has now almost outgrown her.
– On official occasions, you take pictures in different constellations and publish them as you go, explains Johan Tegel.
A similar situation occurred at the King’s birthday when an older image was also used.
– There is no possibility of taking new photographs every time, says Johan Tegel.
