A 34-year-old Brantford man has been charged with sexual assault and criminal harassment.

The charges stem from two separate incidents alleged to have occurred on the walking trails near Shellard Lane and Colborne Street West.
The first incident took place June 9 at approximately 9 am when the accused is alleged to have approached a female on the trail. On June 11, the accused is alleged to have approached another female at 9:15 a.m.
Police did not release details of the incidents or information related to the victims.
The accused was arrested June 12 and was held for a bail hearing.
Police are reminding residents that sexual assault is any unwanted act of a sexual nature imposed by one person upon another. Forced or coerced intercourse, grabbing, touching, or kissing can be defined as sexual assault.
