S&P 500 and Nasdaq at record highs for fourth day.

In the United States, the New York Stock Exchange closed largely higher on Thursday, and two of the three main indexes once again reached new records.

The broad-based S&P 500 and the technology-focused Nasdaq ended the stock market day at record highs for the fourth day in a row. At the end of Thursday, the S&P 500 was up 0.2 percent and the Nasdaq was up 0.3 percent.

The industrial index Dow Jones was 0.2 percent below freezing.

Of the individual companies, circuit board manufacturer Broadcom was successful, and the value of its shares rose by 12.2 percent.
