A new warning of torrential rain has been issued by SMHI. This time north-eastern Svealand and Gästrikland are affected.

The heavy showers, locally there can be up to 40 millimeters, are expected to move in during the afternoon. Thunder, hail and strong winds also await the affected areas.

According to SMHI, the storm can lead to traffic disruptions and flooding of basements, stormwater systems, viaducts and roads.

On Wednesday, Norrköping in particular was affected by flooded roads after torrential rain. Hail fell from the sky over both Linköping and Stockholm.
