The servers are now deactivated. The update is already available for download and is 11,794 GB on the PS5. We’ll list the leaks for you right away.
What happens during an update? Today Epic Games is taking down the servers for maintenance. You won’t be able to play Fortnite during the downtime, so be prepared.
According to leakers, this time there will be a Metallica collaboration. This will unlock new skins, weapons and also the super styles of the individual “Battle Pass” skins. You can find out what leaks there are and when the server will be down here.

Fortnite: Start and duration of server down
Server down in the morning – what you need to know: Epic Games has announced its server downtime for Fortnite and has set it at 10:00 a.m. German time. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before the servers are shut down – so you will no longer be able to start new rounds during this time.
When will the servers be back online? This depends on the size and scope of the update. If there are no complications, you can expect a two-hour downtime. However, it could also be that the server is not down until around 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. We will keep you updated in this case.
When will the patch notes be released? Epic Games currently only sporadically publishes its patch notes for the “Battle Royale” mode. If they are available, they will only be published after the downtime. We will list the patch notes for you as soon as Epic Games has published them.
What content could be released with Update 30.10?
