Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that the group’s shareholders were voting “by a large majority” to approve his compensation plan, in a message published late Wednesday evening in the United States on his social network before the conclusion of the vote.
“Both Tesla shareholder resolutions are currently passed by a large majority!” Elon Musk wrote, referring to the resolutions to approve his $56 billion compensation plan and the transfer of registration of Tesla from Delaware to Texas. Official voting results have not yet been released.
