A fire broke out in the forest near Narlıdere Cemetery in Narlıdere district around 12:00. People around noticed the smoke rising from the area and reported the situation to the forestry teams.
TEAMS WERE SHIPPED TO THE REGION
4 planes, 2 helicopters, 25 water tankers, 5 water supply trucks and 4 bulldozers belonging to the Izmir Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the region.
IT WAS UNDER CONTROL IN 1.5 HOURS
The fire was brought under control in 1.5 hours. While cooling efforts continued, an investigation was launched to determine the cause of the fire.
