A first trailer for season 2 of Arcane was revealed by Netflix on Tuesday June 11, a few months before its release at the end of the year. But it was also announced that it would be the last of the series.
The confrontation between Vi and Jinx is imminent. Netflix unveiled this Tuesday, June 11, the first trailer for season 2 ofArcana. In these breathtaking new images, we can see Piltover preparing the assault on Zaun after the explosive finale (that is to say) of the first season, which will have dramatic consequences on the already divided city and on our protagonists.
But if this trailer excites fans, unfortunately, the release of the video was accompanied by an announcement that will perhaps disappoint some: Arcana will indeed end at the end of this season 2. In a video posted on social networks, Christian Linke, co-creator of the series, came to give explanations on this choice: “We had an ending very precise in mind from the beginning of the creation of the series, which is why the story Arcana will conclude with its season 2″.
But fortunately, this does not signal the end of projects to adapt League of Legends into animated series: “Arcana “is just the beginning of our journey to tell a bigger story, and it’s just the beginning of our partnership with the wonderful Parisian animation studio Fortiche,” explains Christian Linke. “The arc of Vi and Jinx has evolved so much, well beyond anything we could have dreamed of, and we want to give the same treatment to other champions [de League of Legends]”, he explained, before confirming that Riot and Fortiche are already working on new series and film projects featuring new champions of the famous online game. So, who is Darius, Twitch , Urgot, Camille or another LOL character will be the subject of a new series While waiting to have the answer, you can discover the superb trailer for?Arcana season 2 below.
