The first downtime in Episode: Echoes starts today, June 11, 2024 in Destiny 2. To ensure everything runs smoothly, Bungie is shutting down its servers for a downtime. We’ll be following the server down for you and showing you how long you have to wait.

Update, 7:20 p.m.: Bungie has uploaded its new update and can now be downloaded. The file is 333.0 MB on the PS5. You can find the patch notes at the bottom of our post. If you have downloaded the update, you can log in immediately. We wish you a pleasant evening and good loot!

This is what you need to know today: The first week of Chapter: Echoes starts today in Destiny 2. To ensure the start goes smoothly, Bungie is shutting down its servers for standard maintenance. Maintenance on 11.06. – All times for server down

These times are important today: Bungie is informing its players about the exact downtime via x.com (formerly Twitter). The plan is for the servers to be unavailable for 3:15 hours today.

This is the maintenance schedule:

  • Background maintenance will start at 3:00 p.m. on all platforms.
  • At around 3:45 p.m. the servers go offline. Players are automatically kicked out of the game.
  • The shooter should be back online at 7 p.m. and you can log in again.
  • The maintenance will then continue in the background until 9:00 p.m.
    • This must be taken into account during downtimes: While the background maintenance is running, you may experience connection problems in the game. In addition, queues can sometimes form when logging in because Bungie only releases access to the servers gradually to avoid problems caused by excessive server load. You may therefore have to wait longer before you can get back into the game.

    Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official Companion app may also be down for a while, preventing you from using them.

    This changes with the new update in Episode: Echoes

    The following problems are known: There are also many problems in The Final Shape that players are complaining about. Bungie has a few on its list, but it is not known which of them will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:

  • PC gamers who have 3D audio enabled cannot hear any sound
  • The pop-up of “Exits to Final Form” has the wrong keyart
  • When prismatic hunters activate their new ulti while dangling, they fall
  • The Hunter aspect that increases your Bladefire ulti blades does not work
  • The description of the Hunter’s Arc Staff ultimate does not mention a blinding effect after a three-way combo or slam attack
