Only a few hours before its next keynote, Apple could well take advantage of the conference to unveil a partnership with OpenAI and ChatGPT.
Your iPhone will it soon be equipped with ChatGPT as a voice assistant? This has been the dream of many fans in the Apple community for several days. It is rumored that the Apple firm would be banking on a very lucrative partnership with the company OpenAI, responsible for the most prominent artificial intelligence of the moment: ChatGPT.
This information comes, as is often the case with Apple rumors, from Mark Gurman. The journalist from the Bloomberg site is very accustomed to insides and exclusives concerning future products and new features from Apple. In one of his latest articles on the site, Gurman details a partnership between the Cupertino firm and Sam Altman, general manager of the OpenAI company.
According to the website The Information, Apple has been in discussions with OpenAI to discuss a partnership for more than a year. The nature of the latter, however, still remains unknown. Could we count on native integration of ChatGPT within the iPhone? Will we see the end of Siri, Apple’s iconic assistant, which has been completely outdated for several years now?
This partnership between Apple and OpenAI could also simply be fleeting. Apple could use Sam Altman’s technologies for the time necessary to internally develop its own solution based on generative artificial intelligence.
We will have to wait until the Apple keynote on Monday, June 10 to find out for sure. We will not fail to deliver all the information revealed during the evening.
