There are many dungeons in Diablo 4, but not all of them are easy to reach. Find out where to find the Flooded Depths dungeon here.
In Diablo 4, there are dungeons that are hidden behind bases and therefore do not appear on your map at first. You will notice this, for example, when you try to activate nightmare dungeons using their seals and the message “You do not have access yet” appears.
One of them is the Flooded Depths dungeon. We’ll summarize which base you have to complete and how to find the dungeon.
When you conquer bases, you collect XP, so don’t forget to activate an elixir. With one quest, you can even use two elixirs and stack the bonuses.
How to find the Flooded Depths
Where can I find the Flooded Depths? The Flooded Depths dungeon is located in the very north of the Scosglen area, north of Cerrigar. You can reach the area by walking/riding north from the Marowen waypoint.
In the area you will find the corresponding base “Glimmer of Hope”, which you must capture. As soon as you have conquered the base, the dungeon “Flooded Depths” will appear in the area.
How do I conquer the base? Glimmer of Hope and its lighthouse are located on the coast of Scosglen. When you enter the area, your player character wonders why the lighthouse’s beacon is not burning. You will meet some tidewalkers and deckhands there, among others.
To find a way into the lighthouse, you first have to activate the winches and, because one of them is broken, look for a missing part. The tide witch Ne’Gana is waiting for you in the lighthouse. Once you have defeated her, go further up and activate the Flame of Hope. Then activate the “Shrine of the Wanderer” and conquer the base.
What is it all worth? Bases are reset with each season, meaning you can conquer them again and again. When you conquer a base, you sometimes get new waypoints that you can fast travel to, as well as 100 reputation points in your region progress.
In general, it is worth completing the region progress because: You will receive important bonuses for each new character (in the same mode). Dungeons also earn you reputation points. You can also level up your glyphs in the nightmare versions of the dungeons, which will give you certain bonuses. You can find out how to best farm and level up glyphs here.
