The Amazon series has attracted numerous new players to Fallout 4, but now they are desperate about a puzzle

Many players find Fallout 4 thanks to the Fallout series. Bethesda has added a total of seven expansions since the release, including the story add-on Far Harbor. But there is a particular puzzle in the DLC that players would prefer to skip.

Why is Fallout 4 so popular again?

Players are not only rediscovering the main game, but also the DLCs (or discovering them for the first time). Some of the expansions further advanced the story, including the Far Harbor DLC, which was released in 2016.

But one of the puzzles is so annoying for players that they vent their anger on the Reddit forum.

Players are annoyed about “the worst level design”

What is the puzzle about? Players complain about a puzzle related to DiMA’s memory. In “Blessing of Oblivion” we have to obtain DiMA’s memories in a virtual world.

We have to create a path for the beetle helpers to reach the yellow pillar of light and bring the memories back to the starting point of a sequence. To do this, blocks can be moved to guide the beetles across the chasms.

Why do many players despair about it? The puzzle seems confusing to many players due to the level design. In contrast to the otherwise realistic and post-apocalyptic setting, the block world seems monotonous. This causes many players to lose their orientation.

Some users were only able to solve the puzzle by watching playthroughs on YouTube. Some players even say they spent more time in DiMA’s memory than in the rest of the DLC, in Marathon mode in Civilization 6, or in some puzzles in Tomb Raider.

Additionally, Fallout 4 is a Bethesda game, so it’s normal for some parts to not work due to bugs. This may cause some players to have to reload their save and play parts again.

Many users write that they actually have a lot of fun with the DLC. But this puzzle completely ruins the fun of the game. They let their frustration run wild (via reddit):

  • pickle_daddy76: That’s why I use a mod that makes this part of the level completely unnecessary.
  • urbandeadthrowaway2: It’s fun once, just once. Like the intro of the game.
  • Interesting_Mix083: I hate this part of the quest. I avoid it as much as I can.

Fallout is known for its vaults, among other things. People used them to seek shelter from the atomic bombs that rained down from the sky. However, terrible experiments were carried out in some of the shelters. MeinMMO has listed the worst ones for you here: In Fallout there are over 100 vaults with nasty experiments – these are the worst
