Alexander Isak breaks the silence about the future after a new big club enters the hunt – can be sold for as much as 2.3 billion

Alexander Isak is Swedish football’s big attacking star.
He is also coming off a fantastic season in England.
Now a new major club is embarking on the hunt for the Swedish hit man.

The past season has been incomparably good too Alexander Isak in the Premier League. After a fine debut season, the 24-year-old managed to live up to the high expectations again and deliver an even better season.

Isak’s great success

Despite injury problems in the autumn, Isak changed things up considerably in the spring and was hot for his Newcastle at the end of the season. Isak reached a whopping 21 goals in 30 games in the Premier League and thus took a very strong third place in the scoring league.

He also wrote new, Swedish sports history by erasing Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s record of 16 complete hits, as the Swede who has scored the most goals in the Premier League of all time. Ahead of this summer’s transfer window, Isak is therefore heavily pursued by Europe’s big clubs.

Chased by three teams

In the past there have been rumors of interest from both Arsenal and Barcelona. Now another big club is getting in on the action, as the reputable The Athletic reports that Tottenham are interested in the successful striker.

It has previously been rumored that Newcastle could be forced to sell off players to meet the Premier League’s tough regulations on club finances. But now The Telegraph writes that the club from northeastern England wants to keep Isak and set a price tag of a whopping 180 million pounds, just over 2.3 billion Swedish kronor.

Admit it yourself

Now Alexander Isak also opens up about the future and what happens next season.
– I enjoy myself very, very well in Newcastle. I had my best season now in my career. That should not be underestimated. I really love everything about the club, the fans, the city, says Isak, who is currently at a national team camp with Sweden, to the Swedish media.
– I actually have no thoughts of a move or anything like that. I enjoy myself fantastically well and am very happy with my life.

He also doesn’t have much to spare for all the transfer rumors that surround him at the moment and will continue to do so during the summer.
– It’s not something I’m speculating on. There’s been mostly talk about them needing to sell players in the media, within the team and within the club there hasn’t been much talk or drama about it. I have not received the information from the club that they would have to sell me, says the 24-year-old at a press conference.
