At least 75 people have been killed in Israeli attacks on the Maghazi and Bureij refugee camps in the city of Dayr al-Balah in central Gaza, according to a spokesperson for Al Aqsa Hospital, several media reports.
Israel’s army confirms that it has launched “targeted operational activities” in Bureij and in eastern Dayr al-Balah. It is justified by the “presence of terrorists and infrastructure above and below ground”, data which the army says is based on intelligence information.
On Tuesday, a spokesman for the Gaza Civil Defense stated that rescue services found the bodies of 360 people, mostly women and children, who were killed in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza during the three-week Israeli offensive there, writes the AP news agency.
