After the second half of season 14 has been broadcast, Blue Bloods – Crime Scene New York will finally leave TV screens. Even the bitter struggle of star Tom Selleck, who apparently has very personal reasons for a continuation of the hit, could not reverse the decision to cancel the series.

Blue Bloods to be continued with a new series
As TVLine reports, Paramount Global CEO Brian Robbins announced at the annual general meeting that the TV new series about Dexter, Billions and Blue Bloods will come.
While spin-offs to Dexter and Billions were already known, the Blue Bloods announcement is brand new information. However, the CEO did not reveal any more details. Whether the main series will be Spin-off or prequel or a completely different type of series is to be expanded, can therefore only be speculated for now.
When will the new Blue Bloods series be released?
There is no release date for the planned spin-off yet. Before that, The final episodes of the main series will be broadcast for the first time from October 2024. A German date for the last Blue Bloods episodes is not yet known.
