In the monthly podcast, Wijmenga, Van Waveren and Dimitri Gilissen (VVD) talk about, among other things, the consequences of the ‘general agreement’ for the city of Utrecht. Wijmenga calls these consequences dramatic. He thinks that volunteer organizations in the city will have a hard time. “If you look at, for example, the (tax) deduction of donations, the government is going to limit that enormously. Well, the impact that that has on all kinds of organizations, charities, is enormous,” he says in the podcast. “That simply means that you will receive far fewer donations and will be able to do much less work.”
