Frida Karlsson and Johannes Hösflot Kläbo were recently captured in a picture that attracted attention.
Now the Norwegian ski king opens up about the Swede and admits what he thinks.
She is truly one of our top Swedish skiers right now. Frida Karlsson is coming off another fine ski season where she finished third in the overall World Cup and continues to establish herself in the absolute top of the world in cross-country skiing.
Frida’s revelation
The Swede broke through in 2019 as a blue-yellow big talent and surprised everyone in his very first senior championship. Karlsson shocked the world elite by winning WC gold, WC silver and WC bronze during the skiing WC in Seefeld as a mere 19-year-old.

Since then, she has collected a total of eleven championship medals during her skiing career and won the Tour de Ski. But recently Frida dropped the bombshell that she can end her successful career as early as 2027.
– That’s what I told myself. There is more to life, she said in an interview.

The words have now provoked strong reactions in neighboring Norway. Last week, a picture of Frida Karlsson and the Norwegian skiing star was published Johannes Hösflot Kläbo on Instagram that got a lot of talk, see it below.

The picture of the Swedish and Norwegian star duo has received over 25,000 likes and everyone seems to be convinced that they would fit well together as a love couple. A lot of people have commented and written words like “Nice couple”, “dreams” and “you would be a nice couple”, see the picture below.
Kläbo about Karlsson
Now Kläbo opens up about what he thinks of Frida and her plans to end her career prematurely.
– It will be exciting to see how she does. I will be surprised if she retires if she takes more WC gold in 2027. I have to say that, says the Norwegian to the newspaper Nettavisen.
– It is probably one thing to tell yourself that one day you will stop. Whether she does is another matter.

Also the Norwegian legend Marit Björgenwho recently became coach of the Norwegian women’s national team, says what she really thinks about Frida Karlsson’s plan for the future.
– You can have such thoughts to yourself, but to make it public… I myself did not think that I would invest until 2011, but it was many years after that. A whole seven years, so a lot happens and those years go by quickly, says Björgen to the newspaper.
