If wind turbines are built on the Lage Weide business park, they will be located in Utrecht but too close to homes in Stichtse Vecht, according to the latter municipality. Stichtse Vecht is also not happy about the fact that only Utrecht residents were invited to consultation evenings about the possible arrival of wind turbines and not people from, for example, Maarssenbroek or Oud-Zuilen. “We are surprised,” the municipal executive writes, “because we previously agreed administratively that our residents would also be invited. We would like to hear where this went wrong.”
