A Port Lambton woman has been cleared of all charges following a seizure of weapons and drugs in Sarnia last fall.

Sarnia police said the vice unit and emergency response team executed a search warrant at an unidentified home in Sarnia around 11 am Nov. 2. The weapons officers seized include a loaded .22-caliber revolver-style handgun, a .22-caliber rifle, a stun gun, an expandable baton, and a butterfly-style knife, police said. The drugs they found included nearly 13 grams of cocaine, almost two grams of crack cocaine, and more than one gram of methamphetamine. Police included a photo of the alleged seizure.
David Larocque, 39, Alena Baudoux, 39, Allison Lake, 33, all from Sarnia, and April Stirling, a 45-year-old Port Lambton resident, were all facing charges, police said. Larocque was initially held in custody, police said, but all of them were eventually released.
But during a recent court appearance, the Crown asked a justice of the peace to drop all the charges against Stirling. They didn’t explain why.
The charges against the other three are still outstanding. The case featuring just the three of them was briefly in court Tuesday and will be back on June 25. The charges haven’t been tested in court.
