The rescue service, ambulance and police have been alerted to a bathing place in Moheda in Alvesta municipality after a drowning alarm, several media reports.
– We are on site and helping the emergency services and investigating whether any crime may be suspected, but it is too early to say, says Filip Annas, press spokesperson at the police.
The police later write on their website that they do not suspect any crime and that the injured person is a man.
P4 Kronoberg reports that he was missing after a swim.
The rescue service has pulled the person out of the water, but the extent of the damage is unclear.
SVT News Småland reports that one person has been taken to hospital.
