Toned Wall Street. Inflation stable in April

New York Stock Exchange well set at the turning point

(Finance) – Wall Street continues the session with a fractional gain, after the publication of PCE data on US inflation substantially in line with estimates.

In detail, in April, the measure preferred by the Federal Reserve to evaluate the next monetary policy moves, increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month, in line with expectations and equal to the March figure.

Among US indices, the Dow Jones rises by 0.37%, while, on the contrary, theS&P-500, which loses 0.54%, trading at 5,207 points. Downhill the Nasdaq 100 (-1.5%); on the same trend, negativeS&P 100 (-0.7%).

Appreciable increase in the S&P 500 for the sectors power (+1.36%), healthcare (+0.63%) e utilities (+0.41%). Among the worst on the S&P 500 list, the sectors fell the most informatics (-1.66%), secondary consumer goods (-1.02%) e telecommunications (-0.94%).

To the top between giants of Wall Street, Salesforce (+3.08%), United Health (+3.07%), Johnson & Johnson (+1.41%) e Amgen (+1.20%).

The worst performances, however, are recorded on Amazonwhich gets -2.67%.

Prey for sellers Microsoftwith a decrease of 2.17%.

Basically weak Caterpillarwhich recorded a decline of 0.97%.

It moves below parity IBMhighlighting a decrease of 0.95%.

Between best performers of the Nasdaq 100, Zscaler (+5.15%), Sirius XM Radio (+4.56%), Walgreens Boots Alliance (+3.59%) e Warner Bros Discovery (+2.48%).

The strongest sales, however, occur at MongoDBwhich continues trading at -25.40%.

Bad performance for Marvell Technologywhich recorded a decline of 12.13%.

Black session for Datadogwhich leaves a loss of 7.34%.

At a loss Modernwhich fell by 6.11%.
