On the program of outings for the week, there is something for everyone!

Pop, rap and even reggae… This last week of May is full of musical releases! While the rain doesn’t seem to want to give way to the seasonal sun, what could be better than a selection of new releases to sweeten the weekend?

On the program this week, the album of the rap phenomenon SCH entitled JVLIVS: Prequel, Giuliothat of the Nigerian singer Ayra Starr, The Year I Turned 21or the return of Hervé with Adrenalinebut also two singles to note: Contact High by Metronomy, with Miki and Faux Real, or Viva Tu, by Manu Chao. Finally, note the young singer Ysé, who published her EP called Rêver.

SCH – JVLIVS: Prequel, Giulio

Three years after the release of his last album JVLIVS IIMarseille rapper SCH makes his return this Friday with the final part of his trilogy on organized crime JVLIVSwith the disk JVLIVS: Prequel, Giulio. With 18 tracks, including the single Cannellonithis album goes back to the origins of his character Giulio, a young Marseille mafioso.

Ayra Starr – The Year I Turned 21

Nigerian phenomenon Ayra Starr unveils her second album this Friday, titled The Year I Turned 21 and composed of 15 tracks, including Santa and its some 159 million plays on Spotify… After the success of 19 & Dangerousher first project unveiled in 2021, the singer this time surrounded herself with other artists like Asake, Coco Jones and Anitta, after being dubbed by Aya Nakamura on a remix of her song Hyped.

Hervé – Adrenaline

After unveiling two first singles, Semaphore And Like everyonesinger Hervé releases his third studio album this Friday, called Adrenaline. Recorded in Brixham, England, following the tour Interior Living, this project has 10 tracks, between fiery pop and instinctive rock. Hervé even sang Eric Cantona’s voice on the album’s eponymous track.

It is in French that Metronomy opens a new chapter in its discography with the single Contact High, in collaboration with Miki and Faux Real. A title which announces the release of a next EP in its era of Possetitled Posse Vol 2 and expected in stores on July 12.

Manu Chao – Viva Tu

Fourteen years (!) after the release of The Radiolina, his latest record, Manu Chao is back with the single Viva Tu, announcing a new album to be released in the fall. For this first taste, the Franco-Spanish icon offers a rumba dedicated to her neighbors in Barcelona and elsewhere, an ode to life and peace.

Ysé – Dream

We end this playlist of the week’s releases with the EP from the young singer from Seine-Et-Marne, Ysé, who is releasing this Friday Dream and its five beautifully pop songs, including the singles When I look And I prefer (to party).
