Eighteen new workshops have been designed to empower, educate and inspire attendees, organizers said in a release this week.
There will also be a panel discussion with women-identifying participants who will speak to the power of working to serve the community of Chatham-Kent. A fashion show will cap off the day.
“Last year, over 200 folks joined us at our first annual SheLeads,” said Randi Bokor Caron, SheLeads co-founder. “We had an empowering and inspiring day and knew we’d be back again this year.
“Our team has grown and worked hard all year to put together an even better day. Thank you to our many sponsors, specifically Mainstreet Credit Union, and many volunteers for making SheLeads 2024 possible.”
The Chatham-Kent SheLeads also has inspired SheLeads Georgian Bay, launched by Danielle and Alexis Northcott after attending the Chatham-Kent event. It took place last weekend and sold out.
“We were so inspired by the Chatham-Kent SheLeads event that we felt compelled to bring this amazing experience to Midland,” Northcott said.
“Our goal was to create a supportive and motivating environment where women-identifying folks can thrive and connect. We’re grateful to SheLeads CK and Suni Creative for sharing their plans, insights, and SheLeads marketing materials which helped make our event such a triumph.”
The July 6 event runs from 8 am to 4:30 pm For more details on the workshops available, or to purchase pay-what-you-can tickets, visit sheleadsck.com.
