The first peregrine falcon was born on the night of April 24 to 25. The other two hatched one night later, Rijkswaterstaat announced today. That is quite special, because in the Netherlands there are about 200 to 250 pairs, says ecologist Coen van Tuijl of Rijkswaterstaat, the owner of the lock.
