The new Warner Bros Discovery platform is soon arriving in France. We take stock of everything that Max will offer.
Only a few days left before the official launch of Max in France. It was on June 11 that the platform of streaming by Warner Bros. Discovery will be available in France. The opportunity for subscribers to have access to numerous flagship programs, such as Harry Potter, DC Comics films, but also queen series like Game of Thrones, Succession, The White Lotus, Euphoria And The Last of Us. Season 2 of House of the Dragon will also be available exclusively from June 17, 2024.
In total, three subscriptions will be offered to users, the prices of which vary from 5.99 euros per month (with advertisements) to 13.99 euros per month for the most advantageous offer. A sports option can be subscribed to, for an additional fee of 5.99 euros per month. The platform has also signed broadcast partnerships with Canal+, Prime Video, Orange, Free and SFR, which will make the platform accessible via their media.
But what about Prime Video Warner Pass subscribers? The platform will be available for subscription on Amazon’s streaming platform upon launch, while current Warner Pass subscribers will continue to have access to content. Also note that subscribers to Canal+ Ciné Séries, Friends & Family, Intégrale and Rat+ Ciné Séries will have access to Max from its launch, at no additional cost. Two years after its launch in the United States, spectators in the French territory will finally be able to benefit from the HBO and Warner Bros catalog on a dedicated platform, but also via MyCanal, Prime Video, the Free, Orange and SFR boxes and several connected televisions and consoles.
The Max streaming platform offers three distinct subscriptions, at different prices and benefits. A sports option will also be possible, and to be added with any basic package. In the Max catalog, we will also find all HBO productions, old and future, but also a library of Warner Bros. productions, New Line Cinema, Turner Classic Movies, Adult Swim, Crunchyroll and many others.
