Boy missing in Norway – wanted to pick up football

An 11-year-old disappeared this evening from a camp school in Finnmark in Norway.

According to witness statements in the Norwegian media, it is suspected that he must have fallen into a river.

– We are fully searching in the area where he was last seen, says police operations leader Ann Rigmor Søderholm to VG.

Witnesses are said to have seen the boy being swept away by the river’s strong current.
