The stabbing caused extensive internal bleeding, and the victim – a man in his 30s – had to have surgery to remove his damaged kidney. According to the prosecutor, it was only because the man received treatment and underwent surgery that he survived.
As evidence, the prosecutor has invoked, among other things, interviews with witnesses about their observations and a surveillance video that will prove the sequence of events.
The suspect did not speak during the interrogation.
