With more than two billion users worldwide, WhatsApp is undoubtedly one of the most popular applications today. But if Meta’s famous messaging continues to improve and enrich itself over its many successive versions, it also sometimes has to ignore the past, leaving users – or more precisely, devices – on the sidelines. Finally, the Sony Xperia M, Lenovo A820, ZTE V956 – UMI No new features from Xiaomi, so only models running a version lower than Android 5.0 are no longer in the race.

If you are ever concerned, consider updating the operating system of your smartphone to extend the life of instant messaging. If, unfortunately, your device has reached the update limit of its OS, you will need to consider purchasing a more recent phone. In any case, you will still be able to use WhatsApp, if, and only if, the application is already installed on your device, in a compatible version. However, you will not be able to access future updates and new associated functions.
