The celebrities who are ported by Ferrari

Ferrari has certain rules when it comes to its cars – for example, you must not order your car in pink from the factory under any circumstances.

Below is a list of four celebrities which is said to be ported from Ferrari.

4. 50 Cent

50 Cent had a Ferrari 488 for a period, a car he encountered on patrol with. More specifically, it was a battery that discharged, which resulted in the car needing to be towed.

The famous rapper communicated his frustration regarding this on Instagram, calling the car a “lemon”, the American equivalent of a Monday copy.

In Maranello, Ferrari’s home town, this was mildly amused and it is said that 50 Cent was ported from the brand at the same stage.

3. Justin Bieber

Something Ferrari doesn’t appreciate is when their cars are modified beyond recognition. It becomes extra sensitive when it comes to the brand’s famous logo. This is something Justin Bieber did and was therefore ported from the brand.

The Canadian singer had a white Ferrari 458 that was changed to an electric blue color. He also took the opportunity to modify the logo. Furthermore, Bieber lost the car during a crazy night out, which generated a lot of media attention. Thank you, Ferrari said.

2. Deadmau5

Another famous artist who has fallen out with Ferrari is Deadmau5. It even went so far that the Italian brand sent a warning letter.

What Deadmau5 did was paint his car bright blue and foil the car with the internet meme Nyan Cat. Moving on, the emblems were changed and Deadmau5 called the car a Purrari.

Since then, the artist no longer has the opportunity to buy a Ferrari.

1. Floyd Mayweather

Like many other manufacturers, Ferrari does not value customers who buy their cars as an investment. The Italians are more concerned with customers who buy a Ferrari to keep it, not make a quick buck.

One of those customers who changes cars as often as another changes socks is Floyd Mayweather, the world’s richest boxer. He has owned a number of Ferrari cars but for far too short a time – instead, the goal has been to show off the car and then sell it for a favorable price. In turn, the American boxer is ported from Ferrari.
