Soha Saad was killed in the gang conflict between Rawa Majid and his mortal enemy Ismail Abdo. The bomb in Fullerö was actually aimed at Rawa Majid’s relatives.
Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer (M) states that his mission is to change the policy to prevent similar acts of violence.

Do you think you have succeeded?
– I cannot say that anyone can be satisfied in a situation where we have shootings and explosions at the levels we have today and have had for many years. I am convinced that it is possible to reverse the trend, but I have also said since day one that it will take time, he says.
Have gone back 110,000 kroner
Soha Saad’s father has so far had to withdraw SEK 110,000 from a savings account to be able to pay for the house in Fullerö while it is being rebuilt. He is disappointed with the authorities, among other things because he has not received help to find housing for his family. The chairman of the municipal board in Uppsala, Erik Pelling (S), says that it is legislation and regulations that stopped the municipality from helping the Saad family find housing.
– I cannot comment on the details of this specific case, although my impression is that there is often considerable scope to assist and help. However, I have noticed that individuals can get stuck. I am open to looking at possible rule changes to change what can change that situation, says Gunnar Strömmer (M).
