The galaxy called Sunrise Arc, Sunrise arc in French, has its image heavily distorted by a gravitational lensing effect that stretches it into an arc where it appears three times in this photograph obtained from photons collected by the Hubble telescope. The nodes along the entire length of the arc are in fact star clusters except for one which corresponds to a single particularly bright star indicated by an arrow: Earendel. © Sciences: NASA, ESA, Brian Welch (JHU), Dan Coe (STScI) Image processing: NASA, ESA, Alyssa Pagan (STScI)
