The man who was shot on the night of May 17 was released from the hospital on Thursday, according to his lawyer. During Friday, he was detained by the Falu district court, on probable grounds suspected of serious drug offences.
According to the man’s lawyer, he is still in severe pain and the arrest decision will be appealed.
– We will appeal. Primarily because the client denies the crime, but also because it does not feel right to detain a person who was shot a few days earlier, says lawyer Volkan Yesil.
Three arrested for attempted murder
Three other people, a woman and two men, are in custody on probable cause on suspicion of attempted murder, serious weapons offenses and serious drug offences, according to Borlänge newspaper.
