Ingemar Stenmark is one of Swedish sports’ great giants.
But he is also the father of teenage daughter Iza Stenmark.
Now the icon shows a completely new image of Iza who has grown up – and the Swedes say the same thing.
He is one of our time’s greatest sporting heroes of all time. All Swedes know what Ingemar Stenmark has done for our country and what success he has had on the ski slopes.
Stenmark’s greatness
In total, there were two Olympic golds, five World Cup golds and 86 World Cup victories during the legendary career. For many years he completely dominated the sport of slalom and really put Sweden on the map internationally.

Nowadays, the 68-year-old lives a more withdrawn life together with his wife Tarja Stenmark. Together they have a daughter Iza Stenmark and over the years we have seen Ingemar and the daughter together at various red carpet events.

A few years ago, Iza was also in the documentary series about “Stenis” to talk about the father. Then the daughter, who was born in 2008, said that she was not particularly interested in her father’s past as one of the world’s best alpine skiers.
– I have heard quite a lot from teachers. The same story about Sweden stopping, they pulled this television into the classrooms. Everyone has their own story that it was so awesome, but I don’t think it’s awesome, I don’t know what it was like and it’s hard to understand how it actually was, she said in the TV documentary.

Stenmark has also admitted in retrospect that his daughter Iza was not too comfortable being in front of the television camera, which reminds a lot of himself. Now Ingemar has shown a new picture of her, as he has become more active on social media and shares his everyday life, see the picture below.

Iza has grown up and is now 16 years old. Almost 20,000 people have liked the picture on Instagram and most of them think that father and daughter are becoming very similar, see for yourself below.
