Redelfi Bright Storage subsidiary expands development target to 33 GW

(Finance) – Redelfia company active in the development of innovative and sustainable infrastructures for the energy transition, listed on the Euronext Growth Milan segment, announces that the company subsidiary Bright Storage51% owned by Redelfi and 49% by Flash, a company part of the WRM Group, has expanded the development target of stand-alone Battery Energy Storage System projects “BESS) up to a power of 3.3 GW.

Thanks to the acceleration in the process of identifying BESS projects by Redelfi and the consequent achievement of the negotiated development target of 2.8 GW ahead of schedule compared to the estimated timescales, Bright Storage has decided the expansion of the objective of development over the next five years, thus extending the pipeline up to 3.3 GW.

The expansion of the Bright Storage pipeline involves exceeding – in terms of developed power – the target set for one of the four drivers underlying the 2023-2026 Industrial Plan presented to the market last December 2023, further consolidating Redelfi’s efficiency in the role of developer.

This expansion will involve improved results during the current exerciseo, but the most significant impact in economic terms will be reflected in subsequent years, therefore the guidance of the 2023-2026 Updated Plan, approved on 11 December 2023, is still consistent with the business development forecasts and, therefore, to date are confirmed.
