This easy to install fly trap is very effective two

A few drops of these two products make it possible to obtain a very effective fly trap.

As spring has officially begun, so too has the flies coming home. Attracted by the food in our kitchens, they love to come into our homes as soon as the windows are open. Their ringing in the ears can really be annoying, but above all, they can transmit bacteria such as Salmonella or E.Coli.

If the first thing to do to avoid attracting these little creatures into our kitchen is to remove rotting foods such as meat, fruits and vegetables from your home that will attract the pests, there is also a simple trap to make , other than the hanging roll of tape or the plastic bottle, really not aesthetic.

To make this trap, you will simply need materials and ingredients found in your kitchen: a glass or a bowl, transparent plastic film, a rubber band, a little water, cider vinegar and dishwashing liquid, and that’s all. Apple cider vinegar is a natural ingredient well known for its attractive properties for flies. Its acidic and fruity smell attracts them irresistibly. Dishwashing liquid, on the other hand, is used to break the surface tension of the water, which prevents flies from floating and causes them to sink into the trap.

To use this method, mix about an inch or two of apple cider vinegar with a few drops of dishwashing liquid and a little water in a glass. Make sure you don’t fill the container completely, leave enough space for flies to enter. Mix gently.

Cover the container with clear plastic wrap and secure it with a rubber band or tape. Make sure there are no gaps through which flies can escape. Poke small holes in the top so flies can enter the trap.

Place the trap in areas where you have noticed a high presence of flies, such as near trash cans, sinks or windows. Be sure to set the trap away from areas where you prepare or consume food, to avoid contamination. Renew the contents of the trap regularly, replacing the vinegar and dishwashing liquid every few days, or whenever the trap becomes saturated with flies.
