This beach is one of those secret places that you would like to keep to yourself and your loved ones. It is located on the Côte des Sables, in northern Finistère in Brittany, and offers a splendid expanse of white sand bordered by dunes. Its turquoise blue sea worthy of the tropics completes the picture. There is no denying that the splendid Amiets beach is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches in France which will delight lovers of wide open spaces and breathtaking panoramas!
This vast beach of fine sand, approximately 1,600 meters long, will please the whole family. Equipped with a nautical club, kayaking, windsurfing, paddle boarding and even horse riding are practiced there until noon and then from 7 p.m. Vacationers looking for peace and quiet will also find what they’re looking for, contemplating this turquoise lagoon-like cove, worthy of the tropics, while relaxing without the crowds behind. Amiets beach is supervised from July 1 to August 31, every day, from 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Good to know, public toilets with automatic cleaning are available near the beach, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Finally, not far from the beach, La grenouillère aux Amiets is a water reservoir specially designed for children which, at low tide, offers the opportunity to try fishing on foot.
To get to Amiets beach, follow the coastline of the Côte des Sables towards the north of Cléder. You can also reach it on foot via the GR34, which allows you to discover this magnificent 13-kilometer-long coastline between Roscoff and Abers, where there are white sand beaches, massive dunes and rocks with unusual shapes sculpted by the sea.
