(Finance) – It was held today at Mimit il table Fuelson the guidelines for the reorganization of the distribution of the sector and the restructuring of net. A preparatory meeting for the presentation to the Council of Ministers, in the coming weeks, of the bill in a matter which aims to intervene on a fragmented system, rationalizing the network and accompanying it – in line with the evolution of new mobility – towards models of sustainability and green transition.

In addition to the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Ursus and the sector associations, the undersecretary of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security participated at the table, Claudio Barbarian and the undersecretary of Mimit Maximum Bitonci.

“A measure long awaited by categories productive and on which we had made a commitment precisely when, at the beginning of last year, we began a significant discussion with representatives of the sector for the application of the Price transparency decree of the fuels. Finally an organic law that will allow the qualification of sales points, regulate their negotiations with oil companies and accompany the conversion towards electric, making the sector more sustainable”, declared Minister Urso.

Regulatory intervention is based on four guidelines. The regulation of the authorization regime for fuel distribution activities; the regulation of contractual relationships regarding the management of distribution systems; the modification of the provisions regarding the indication of fuel prices and the rationalization and reconversion of the urban and extra-urban distribution network.

According to the Mimit Fuel Observatory, tariffs along the supply chain have shown a decrease in prices in recent weeks price lists at the pump: on urban and extra-urban roads the price is 1,744 euros/litre for diesel and 1,890 euros/litre for petrol.

“The project for the reform and restructuring of the fuel network presented today is partly acceptable, and collects some important indications coming directly from the operators. Certainly, however, we can only wait to read the details of the announced measure”, they commented in a note jointly with the associations representing the managers Faib, Fegica And Figiscat the end of the table.

“Our organizations will monitor with great attention because a measure that has been awaited for decades for the tidying up of the sector does not in fact turn into a gift to the usual potentates come on huge economic interests. So let’s keep one reserve especially on what concerns the environment and employment contracts. In this regard, the Presidencies of the Managers’ Organizations will meet on May 21st with the aim of deciding the initiatives to be taken”, they added.
