The police and the Swedish Armed Forces are on the scene in a wooded area in Vårby in southern Stockholm.
According to the police, they are looking for a weapon connected to the murder of Mikael, who was shot dead in front of his son on April 10 in Skärholmen.
– I will not comment on why they are searching or if they have made any findings, says Nadya Norton, press spokesperson in the Stockholm police region.
The police are tight-lipped about the operation
The police do not want to say anything about why the operation is being carried out there or whether they have made any findings.
– We have been there during the day and are still there, says Nadya Norton shortly before 18.30
More than a month after the murder, no one has been arrested.
– It is known that four are suspects, of which three are for aggravated protection of a criminal and one is for weapons offences. Two of those who are suspected of grossly protecting a criminal are teenagers, says TV4 Nyhetern’s crime reporter Therese Cedergren, in Efter fem.
