The center party wants to call the directors general of Säpo and several other authorities to the justice committee to discuss TV 4’s revelation that the Sweden Democrats are spreading disinformation via anonymous accounts in social media.
Among other things, Center party leader Muharrem Demirok wants an investigation into whether the Sweden Democrats played a role in the LVU campaign conducted against Sweden with false claims that Swedish social services kidnap Muslim children. Something that is hinted at in the program.
The Center Party demands that the government commission authorities to investigate SD’s role in the LVU campaign.
— Every single question mark must be cleared up. And during this time, the Sweden Democrats must be stripped of their seats in the police and security police’s transparency council, says Demirok.
C also wants to call Säpo, the Agency for Psychological Defense, MSB and the police to the justice committee.
– They must explain to the members of the Riksdag what is currently known about SD’s involvement, says Demirok.
Sweden Democratic members of parliament should not be at the hearing, he underlines.
He also wants an investigation into whether tax money in the form of party support was used for SD’s activities via anonymous accounts.
– The Center Party wants to see a ban on party support being used to finance activities that pose a threat to national security or undermine the democratic order, says Muharrem Demirok.
