(Finance) – Fincantieri closed the first quarter of the year with stable revenues to 1,767 million euros (+0.2% compared to the 1st quarter of 2023). Overall workload at record levels of €39.3 billion, approximately 5.1 times the revenues achieved during 2023, confirming strong commercial development in all business areas with a soft backlog of 17.3 billion.
EBITDA is equal to euro 100 million, up year on year by approximately 16% (from 87 million). EBITDA margin at 5.7%, with a significant improvement compared to 4.9% in the first quarter of 2023 and 5.2% at the end of 2023
There Net financial position (PFN) is negative equal to euro 2,413 million, a marked improvement compared to the same period of 2023 (euro 2,922 million) and substantially in line with euro 2,271 million at the end of 2023.
