Up to a hundred protesters have blocked trucks with humanitarian aid on their way to Gaza and destroyed parts of the cargo, Israeli media reports.
The trucks were on their way from Jordan to Gaza to deliver emergency aid to the starving population when it was blocked at a crossing between the occupied West Bank and Israel.
Footage circulating online shows protesters ripping through boxes of emergency aid and throwing the contents on the ground.
Several people have been arrested, Israeli police announced without going into details.
In the past week, activists from the Tzav 9 network, an organization formed after October 7, have repeatedly blocked aid convoys and destroyed their contents. The group has been active with similar campaigns throughout the year. The activists say they are trying to prevent aid from reaching Hamas.
