Apple’s streaming service has now become a lavish collection point for a wide variety of sci-fi series. In addition to productions such as Silo, Foundation and Severance, Constellation was also launched on Apple TV+ this year. The science fiction series with stars like Noomi Rapace (Verblendeung) and Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad) but will no longer be continued after just one season.
Sci-Fi series canceled: That’s what Constellation is about
As the Hollywood Reporter reports, Apple has already canceled Constellation after the first season. All eight episodes were released week-to-week and have been available in full on the Apple TV+ subscription for six weeks.
Constellation is about astronaut Jo, who returns to Earth after an accident in space. There she discovers that… Parts of their lives have apparently changed. As she is haunted by nightmarish hallucinations, she must discover whether her reality is truly slipping away or if there is a greater secret behind it.

Official streaming viewing figures for Apple TV+ are generally not published. Between the provider’s now large sci-fi selection But Constellation doesn’t seem to have caught on. Apple did not give a reason for the cancellation.
