The American definition of luxury is really just adding more of everything. That’s exactly what has been the recipe for the Prevost Marathon Coach, a 13.7-metre-long beast with a living space of upwards of 40 square meters.
It is therefore a bus that has been converted so that people can live in it, something that is not entirely unusual in the United States. In Europe, conversions are usually based on vans instead.

The floor in the Prevost Marathon Coach is faux marble, there are two toilets, a tiled shower, veneer doors, multiple TV screens, a washer and dryer, huge storage spaces and a full-sized living room.
It is also possible to fold out the sides of the mobile home to maximize the interior space. Prevost also boasts that their vehicles are designed to go “well over 100,000 miles” which is perfect for a long life on the road.

The price for this opulent creation is 2.8 million dollars, equivalent to 30.4 million Swedish kronor.
Under the hood lurks a Volvo D13 engine of 500 horsepower and there are several hardware-related similarities between a Prevost and the Volvo buses we see out on Swedish roads.
In order to drive a Prevost in Sweden, you need a D license on your driver’s license and the question is how many campsites are able to accommodate a 25-ton mobile home
