Manchester United won the first women’s FA Cup trophy in club history. ManU beat Tottenham 4–0 (1–0) in the English FA Cup final.
Manchester United dominated the women’s FA Cup final at Wembley from start to finish as Tottenham were crushed 0-4 (0-1) in front of 76,082 spectators. Eveliina Summanen played 68 minutes in the ranks of the losers, Olga Ahtinen was a substitute the whole match.

Tottenham goalkeeper Rebecca Spencer gifted a third goal to the opposition immediately after, passing his opening attempt in a gruesome manner straight to the foot of Garcia, who had an easy job of completing the 3-0 readings in the 57th minute.
Summanen was substituted in the 68th minute. According to the statistics, Tottenham did not have a single shot at United’s goal in the final match, even though the team’s captain Bethany England the header was a tool of the game once, just before Summanen’s switch to the top bar.
The final score was 4–0 from a penalty kick by Garcia, who scored the second of the final.
The Women’s FA Cup has been played since 1970. Arsenal is the most successful cup team in history with 14 championships.
Summanen is the first Finnish woman to play in the women’s FA Cup final. Currently the goalkeeper representing AS Roma Tinja-Riikka Korpela was with Everton in the FA Cup final in the corona year 2020, but he did not play at that time.
