The insights that Sweden is a long way behind many countries are beginning to take hold. Collaborations between universities and other actors have been started, and higher education in cyber security is seen as a key factor for Sweden to get more people with cutting-edge skills.
Mälardalen University starting a 2-year master’s degree in cyber security in the fall to meet that need.
– There is a very big need to start different activities, not least trainings as there is a big gap between need and availability of trained people in cyber security, says Shahid Raza.
