Cassa di Risparmio di Orvieto first quarter profit rises to

(Finance) – Orvieto Savings Banka company of the Mediocredito Centrale Group, closed on first quarter of the 2024 financial year records a Net income of 2.97 million euros, compared to 2.71 million euros at 31 March 2023. +24.2% the interest margin, equal to 10.19 million euros at 31 March 2024 (8.21 million euros to 31 March 2023), thanks to the positive trend in interest rates and the growth in loans. +1.4% net commissions equal to 4.24 million euros at 31 March 2024 compared to 4.18 million euros at 31 March 2023.

The net loans to customers (not considering debt securities) went from 1,198.64 million euros at the end of 2023 to 1,204.37 million euros at 31 March 2024 (+0.5%). Net performing loans to customers amounted to 1,177.08 million euros compared to 1,170.06 million euros at 31 December 2023 (+0.6%).

THE impaired loans to customers have a net book value of 27.29 million euros (28.58 million euros at the end of 2023), with a coverage ratio of the adjustment funds equal to 63.2%, up compared to the figure at 31 December 2023 (62.6%). Furthermore, the decline in the gross NPL ratio and the net NPL ratio continues, equal to, respectively, 5.9% (6.1% at the end of 2023) and 2.3% (2.4% at the end of 2023 ).

Substantially stable total collection from customers equal to 1.65 billion euros at 31 March 2024 compared to 1.66 billion euros at 31 December 2023.

TLTRO-III exposure reduced following the reimbursements made during the quarter for approximately 17 million euros. The liquidity position is solid, with the indicators LCR at 284.6% and NSFR greater than 100%. Capital solidity ratios are growing: Cet1Tier1 and Total capital ratio equal to 14.66% (13.21% at 31 December 2023), which incorporate the calculation of the net profit at 31 March 2024 in the primary tier 1 capital.
