The American stock market moved little, focus on quarterly reports

(Finance) – Little moving session on Wall Streetalways struggling with the flow of quarterly, with the corporate results season coming to an end with good overall results. Of the 424 S&P 500 companies that have released earnings through Tuesday, nearly 78% beat analysts’ estimates, according to LSEG data. In a typical quarter, 67% beat estimates.

Among those who spread the quarterly before the bell, Uber forecast lower-than-expected second-quarter gross bookings after missing target for the first three months, Shopify said gross margins will decline following the sale of its logistics business, Rivian reported a larger-than-expected first-quarter loss, Emerson improved profit guidance after a better-than-expected quarter.

Looking at the main indicesThe Dow Jones stops at 38,951 points; on the same line, theS&P-500, with prices positioned at 5,181 points. On the levels of the day before the Nasdaq 100 (-0.15%); along the same lines, consolidates the levels of the day beforeS&P 100 (-0.06%).

In good evidence in the S&P 500 the sector utilities. At the bottom of the S&P 500 ranking, significant declines are seen in the sectors secondary consumer goods (-0.63%) e materials (-0.45%).

Between protagonists of the Dow Jones, Cisco Systems (+1.51%), Amgen (+1.03%), Dow (+1.03%) e JP Morgan (+0.86%).

The steepest declines, however, occur at DoorDash, which continues the session with -4.36%. Under pressure Illuminate, which suffered a decline of 3.25%. It slides Atlassian, with a clear disadvantage of 2.91%. In red Trade Deskwhich highlights a sharp decline of 2.86%.
